Description The Colorado Midland Railway Depot. The Colorado & Southern Railway Depot. 393 N. Santa Fe. Dr.. 1 photograph : Halftone image. The photo is taken looking east toward downtown Castle Rock, Colorado. Railroad tracks are clearly visible in the photo, a boxcar sits behind the depot on the tracks. A sign reading "Rail Road Crossing, Look out for the cars" is in the foreground. The Douglas County courthouse is visible in the background, as is the Cantril School and Castle Rock (the Rock). Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Depot building is a one story wooden structure with double hung windows, a gabled roof, a loading dock type door on the east side, and a door on the south side. A wagon sits on the platform, and a telephone pole is visible on the north side of the structure. A bridge over Plum Creek appears to be made of wood. "Reistle" in the bottom right corner of the print.
