Description [D.& R.G. Depot, Sedalia, Colorado]. Denver and Rio Grande Railway Company operated from 1870 to 1886. It was sold under foreclosure in 1886, and was succeeded by Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Company that operated from 1886 to 1920. View of Rio Grande Avenue from Plum Avenue in Sedalia, Colorado, looking northwest. The Denver and Rio Grande Depot is on the right with a sign on the building reading "Sedalia". Several small buildings with a gabled roofs and a false fronts are on Rio Grande Avenue. A house with a gabled roof and a large front porch is next to the false front buildings. The Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Tracks and a switch are clearly visible, as is the railroad crossover on Manhart Street (Highway 67). Large utility poles are near the railroad.
