[Rising floodwaters near the Presbyterian Church south of Sedalia, Colorado]
by Elder, Bobbie Campbell
[Destruction of the Sedalia Presbyterian Church #5]
1965
Floodwaters rise in the area north of Highway 67 just outside Sedalia. Buildings surrounded by floodwaters, include the Presbyterian Church. Water appears to be covering the basement windows of the church. A building is emerging behind a tree, headed for the church. Debris can be seen floating in the water. A small wave is visible behind the church. The damage occurred as the result of the June 1965 flood of Plum Creek.
